Anonymized URLs being deprecated on the Google Display Network Hide Referrer xyz.anonymous.google.com

Question 1: Why do I see URLs other than “xyz.anonymous.google.com” in my reporting even though I had specifically targeted anonymized inventory?
In the past we’ve allowed publishers to choose to offer placements anonymously and did not disclose their site names to advertisers. However, to comply with Ads.txt requirements, we are no longer allowing publishers to choose to remain anonymous. This means we are now showing the exact URL where your ad was served. If you had previously targeted a pseudonymous placement (e.g., 'xyz.anonymous.google.com') we have replaced that with the de-anonymized placement of the publisher you have been targeting.
This change only impacts reporting. We are still adhering to all of the configurations (such as bidding, targeting, conversions, etc.) specified in your campaign settings.

If you want to anonymize all the external links on your board or homepage, we can generate a script for you to deal with this automatically for all your pages. Enter the Sites for which links shall not be redirected to GMTraffic.com (e.g. your own) and click on "Generate script".

The advantages of anonymizing your external links with GMTraffic.com

Webmasters can use this tool to prevent their site from appearing in the server logs of referred pages as referrer. The operators of the referred pages cannot see where their visitors come from any more.
Using the referrer removal service is quite easy:
https://GMTraffic.com/?http://example.net/ produces an anonymous link to shoubsee.net which prevents the original site from appearing as a referrer in the logfiles of the referred page.

GMTraffic.com only disguises what page a visitor comes from. Surfers who don't want their IP address to appear in any logfile should have a look at the instructions for TOR.
